The Snyder Society is a re-imagining of Kutztown University's chapter of the Philomathean Literary Society. This was a group project for the writing for the workplace course. We were tasked with finding a piece of Kutztown's past and propose integrating it back into the University.

Our group was intrigued by the rumors and reality surrounding the haunting of Old Main, the oldest building on campus, and its ghost Mary Snyder. Mary was an active member of the Philomathean Society, which is why we suggested to bring this student club back to campus in her honor.

As a result of our hard work, our project was selected as the featured panel at the Kutztown University Composition Conference.
